Complete only one mission— eliminating the source of infection by remaining alive in a wave of zombies with military intelligence and tactics. Do not surrender or the city will be infected all. Prioritize the most capable soldiers by leveling them to elite status. Then assign them slots to exploit their power as the next wave of zombies approaches. Zombie Defense's enormous building system includes many dangerous military-grade components, from turrets to explosives and barriers. Additionally, the game features a variety of weapons, including ultra-precise sniper rifles and shotguns. Players can even use Molotov cocktails to douse intruders with an explosive blaze. When playing Zombie Defense, players see the way other games like Jagged Alliance 2, Starcraft and Ground Control II control their characters. These bosses are difficult to deal with due to the fact that they have larger size. Although the game modes seem similar, the strategic and tactical aspects of this game keep you interested. There are 40 missions to complete with a victory condition. Four difficulty levels are available— regular, nightmare, 3-man challenge and TV challenge — which can be cleared with different strategies.

With its stellar visuals and abundant turret placements, Zombie Defense is one worth playing. The game boasts an intelligent unit selection and a rewarding system of upgrades. Plus, the fast paced waves of enemies combined with the abundance of turrets are amazing. The game is easy to learn and play; once you start playing, you'll be in love with the system for upgrading your units and how easy it is to modify them. There are some minor issues with the game itself that need to be addressed. Players report that the app crashes one second after being updated. They tried reinstalling the app and the same problem occurred again. Some gamers bought all of the upgrades and were very close to completing the level. However, they stopped playing for a while and lost all their progress when they returned to the game. The game Zombie Defense is enjoyable and easy to get into. The game claims that the exterminator unit gets twice the rewards when killing zombies. However, when viewing the icon, the information displayed is only that the sheriff and survivor can earn this bonus. It's impossible to increase the power of your towers the way you can your unit. This renders the towers useless when enemies swarm them in increasing numbers.

Clicking the red circle enables a bird's-eye view of the map, which toggles on when the cursor changes to aarget. This is great for when emergency situations demand it, because it allows a unit to assess an approaching horde of zombies with low health. Units that use this skill can face off against 8 enemy types: shambling predators, crawling predators and more. Offline play is free with optional in-app purchases. More characters, turrets and soldiers can be unlocked and upgraded through the app. Plus, higher difficulty levels are available which make defeating the final boss difficult by any means necessary. Whenever possible, prioritize the safety of everyone around you. Zombies are so close to you that you need to move to a safer location. Immediately access new upgrades by collecting additional coins after each level. If you desire increased speed, feel free to upgrade right away.

The music gets repetitive and detracts from the game. This also applies to the graphics and sound effects, which are great. The character design is decent but not modern.
