The new apocalyptic event requires a Norse god of legend to confront a horde of monsters. Because this mighty being won't stand alone, many Viking warriors eagerly await his command to defend their homeland. You will work together with Thor to defeat monsters and evil gods that are outside of the realm. While you travel, you'll encounter terrifying sights that won't cease to taunt you. You'll need to rebuild peace in Asgard and other realms because of your incredible skills. With ease, you can defeat enemies with weak spots that you can use to finish them off quickly.

The player decides Thor's attack when starting Thor: War of Tapnarok. To attack, the player presses the button repeatedly. The player needs to be patient and keep pressing the button to increase Thor's strength and speed. Doing this will allow the player to attack multiple enemies continuously. Once the enemy is defeated and another enemy appears, they can keep attacking until they earn more money. This video game features many more enemies than just the norm. These foes are harder to defeat thanks to their high stamina and larger size. Some of these enemies even have a boss variant that has additional traits. Additionally, there's a way to defeat these enemies via battle techniques that target their weak point. Any weaknesses can be seen once enough damage is done to it. Destructible areas on the monster indicate where specific weak points can be targeted. Large monsters have more areas that can be attacked.

Traveling to save Asgard and the world from monsters provides many exciting adventures such as saving the world from monsters. Players use Thor's abilities and power after the post-Ragnarok event to fight monsters unleashed by Loki. When you reach the certain level in a given level, you use the additional funds to recruit new warriors. The bosses have greater overall strengths than the other monsters. They have many weaknesses that can be used to take a large amount of damage. Thor's abilities are unlocked once his potential is recognized. Finding this out grants access to additional powers that help him overcome increasingly powerful foes. In some boss battles, dropping Runes can increase the power of Treasures you summon. These Runes add powerful effects to the battle.
