Instead, he has become a horror legend created through the internet. This has led to some young people committing murder in response to his creation. Tall and featureless, the Dark Collar Man always wears dark colors with long tentacles on his back. The Slender Man is a mysterious figure that causes horrific incidents in the woods. Nobody knows the true reasons and motives for his actions, but we know that they are terrifying and haunting. Even though these events aren’t real, the children he lures into the woods still experience distress.

In Slender: The Arrival, you play the part of Laura as she travels to Kate's friends house in the edge of the forest to help Kate clean. When Laura arrived at her destination, she found that Kate had disappeared without a trace. The house was in utter chaos, as if it had just experienced a war. Laura found Kate curled into a ball in the forest, confused as to what had caused her state. However, the despairing cry of Kates she heard in the depths of the forest led Laura to track down her daughter and investigate whatever dark mystery lay buried in the forest. Naturally, Laura and her investigation into Slender Man are related. The plot of Slender: The Arrival is dramatic due to the close relationships formed among the characters as the story progresses. Many secrets are revealed as the play continues. Once you learn more about it, the more frightening it becomes. Kate later becomes The Chaser after she was revealed as Slender Man's obsessed fan. Alternatively, you can find Carl Ross' charred body; he was Kates' close friend who died after being manipulated by Slender Man.

Slender: The Arrival is a short but nerve-wracking adventure puzzle game. In the game, you must escape from the Slender Man's henchmen Chaser, who was supposedly hypnotized and controlled by Slender Man. You also need to solve puzzles to save your friends from Slender Man's pursuit. This was a terrifying experience made all the more nerve-wracking because you don't know when or where Slender Man will appear next. Slender: The Arrival maintains high tension due to its lack of brain-hacking couplets and scenes. Nonetheless, the game’s scenes are notably sparse and don’t provide many clues. The player must collect pieces of instruction paper scattered throughout the forest in order to solve the game’s final secret. You must use your sharp intellect, mental fortitude and awareness of your surrounding to overcome the stress and pressure of any given situation. In addition to a flashlight, you only carry a minimal supply of equipment. Slender Man becomes more powerful and faster when the challenge later in the game increases. Most difficult puzzles can be solved when the chase is most intense. Laura must complete a number of intense and stressful situations in order to successfully find her missing friend. Laura must also collect as many light-emitting objects as possible. These objects are the most powerful defense against Slender Man and his henchmen— they can stop them in just a few hours of play. With the flashlight's small field of view, you must strain your eyes to discern anything on the road— from large obstacles to smaller details. This is because perhaps some important clues or discoveries lie in nearby. You can experience the full package of Slender: The Arrival if you play the game alone. Additionally, the game's ruined house is a source of fear. However, fans want to see Slender Man most; the developers have not yet provided that surprise. The Arrival is unique in that it includes a creepy background music track. I get really nervous when I listen to this music; every little sound is clearly defined, from camera shutter noise to footsteps on dry leaves. Other audio effects are present as well, such as wind howling when the Slender Man chases or door creaking when the player enters. The Arrival’s audio is a full-featured horror experience— you can even enjoy a sound party while you play it.
