Sdorica is a sacred dragon that created this land as an old world mystery. It placed the Humanity species there and charged people with preserving its creation. People owed Sdorica a debt of gratitude; its blessing granted people immortality while robbing them of freedom. At birth, a rebel named Vendacti stirred wrath from the God Dragon. He petitioned the dragon-lord Sdorica to let him pursue his will. When Sdorica heard Vendacti’s request, he showed no mercy. Vendicti called for people with similar thoughts to him to stand up and fight against the rule of the god dragon. This was so he could pull down the god dragon’s banner and defeat its followers with his spear. After this victory, he would be the only surviving human to kill the god dragon by stabbing it straight through its heart with his own hand. The dragons’ heartfire soared into the heavens. People always crave independence but must relinquish the hope of everlasting life. Many also harbor misgivings about Vendacti and his colleagues’ quest. Nevertheless, they still yearn to recover the god dragon’s spirit and preserve their immortality. They would have to live as slaves for all time if they failed. I believe Sdoricas story long game is closed as of now. As our hero continues to defeat the god dragon, that’s my guess as to how long it will last. Sdorica isn’t just a video game; it’s a melancholy epic that incorporates many viewpoints and ideas. Regardless of the facts, anyone can have their voice represented in this game thanks to its underlying theme. I’ll dig into that in a little more detail when I discuss Sdorica’s reputation next.

The strangeness of Sdorica begins at the beginning. Most adventure-based role-playing games give players a single character to create. This character's story developments remain unchanged throughout the game. However, Sdorica players take on many roles while maintaining their freedom to explore. Tica is Rune Academy's youngest student. She's a natural, sociable, carefree young woman; sometimes heartless, but generally witty and beautiful. Alternatively, Angelia is the princess of the kingdom of the sun. She's a gentle, soft-hearted young woman who uses her soul-filled weapon to subdue opposing forces. Most people have a different story and path than Tica or Angelia; nobody is an underdog here. All students are equal and experience their own unique adventures. Sdorica’s story is incredibly detailed and continuous. Players can choose to play many different characters who interact in a seamless fashion with the story. The fantasy world in Sdorica is both beautiful and deep.

When comparing the game to adventure role-playing, Sdorica's gameplay is more tactical than narrative. You use blocks called Orbs in military conflicts. Selecting Orbs through a table bypasses button presses for skill selection. Orb configurations can have up to 14 orbs per side, arranged in 7 upper and 7 lower columns. Each configuration features 3 orbs of a certain color for each of three fighting styles: black for attack, yellow for defense, and white for support. Once players come into contact with a colored orb, the corresponding characters will appear on the field and use their unique skills. Each battle requires that participants adhere to a specific color category. That's in addition to the fact that only three characters of any given class can be deployed at a time. Each character in Guild has 5 main skills: 3 active and 2 support. They also have 1 innate skill, 1 support skill and 1 support character. Additional characters have 5 additional skills; three of those can be used by activating blocks. Randomly arranging blocks in chess helps students activate innate and supporting skills. Different arrangements activate different skills, which results in different colored defensive and offensive moves. Chess also decides who wins and loses. You might wonder which character is the main. I can tell you with certainty that the character system in Sdorica is massive and sprawling, but it remains balanced nonetheless. Any character from that system can fight with equal footing and have the same chance of winning as any other. Since the war in Sdorica doesn’t hinge on the protagonist’s personality, I considered this game a more strategic role-playing experience.

Sdorica's art style switches between block animation and chibi. The game combines 3D role-playing with side-scrolling blocks and colors. Players create a character in an ominous story that mixes dark colors and themes. Playing Sdorica provides a sense of calm unlike most other mobile games. The game's graphics represent the magnificence of nature, which is visible in all colors. The music of Sdorica truly stands out. It has a wide range of themes and humming melodies that can be heard in every action the character takes. Furthermore, the one-color nature of mobile background music isn’t present here; instead, the music is full of life with soaring effects, epic battle sounds and soft humming. Music in Sdorica adapts to the emotional state of the story's characters.
