It's one year old, which is significantly younger than many other games. This game is perfect for people who love brain-teasing puzzles mixed with indie games. Currently, it's just enough time to get addicted to the game if you're like me.

The Machinika Museum contains many rare pieces. It has creepy-haired dolls, a bloody heart and ghost elements. However, I wouldn't consider it a horror-themed museum. Instead, I think it's a unique piece that doesn't belong to any specific category. The darkness of the museum and its unknown objects play a large role in eliciting our fear. Coloration and sound also come into play, as they help to conceal various secrets throughout the game. Without music and color tones that signify the existence of hidden secrets, my neck muscles would not tense up with tension. In order to proceed through the game, you must answer a series of mystery questions posed by hidden symbols in each ancient item you locate. This motivates most players to search for and interpret symbols from alien artifacts that reveal answers.

Standing still and accepting the bas… They’re eerie machines with either broken parts or intact ones that produce strange rattling noises. Considering you’re looking at a machine used by aliens long ago, do you get nervous or even excited? Curious questions arise in your mind. Despite the unknown nature of an extraterrestrial civilization, this museum's dark past coupled with lingering unanswered questions make it a perfect location for a horror game.
