Visit Korelis, the land of mystery and intrigue! Many legends about a war between gods and demons go back centuries before Diablo came out. Some of these stories were found in literature, movies, and even games. Nobody knows if these stories are real or if anyone has actually witnessed any of the gods or demons fighting in them. However, many other arts have been inspired by these stories. The legendary Game of Heroes is also derived from this.

A game with a monster or god-themed plot is considered more attractive than one with no such themes. Selecting a game with a deep plot increases the number of characters with superpowers and earthquakes that occur. Additional layers to the plot increase the game's perceived attractiveness. War's underlying purpose is presented through the storyline, which stitches together seemingly unrelated characters and events. Because of this, wars occur with the same seamless efficiency as a unifying glue. For unknown reasons, hellish dark forces unexpectedly rose from the depths and wanted to invade the sacred world of Korelis. Both Korelis’ inhabitants, humans and gods, lived together on the same roof. The story dates back to thousands of years ago. At that time, the Sun God, the head of the Korelis religion, was reigning. A Dark Lord with insatiable greed rose to prominence, but he paid a high price for doing so. A ziggurat — the pyramid tombs of Mesopotamian sun gods — covered his grave with spells, chains and layers of seals. Surrounding the tomb were lava flows that could not be breached; even if someone managed to escape, they would return to an enclosed world. While the Dark Lord still has an unknown reason to this day, he has found a way to break the seals that prevent him from being trapped in the lava; he also breaks through the intense heat and escapes. With a purpose to take revenge on all of Korelis— including the gods who are braver than him— he'll come back to steal back his rightful powers and destroy anyone who is innocent. You have one goal in the game: to rescue Korelis by enlisting the world's most powerful creatures. This is impossible without creating an army of invincible soldiers.

The game's default cast members only have a few characters to work with at first. These heroes have average stats and abilities and can't perform very well in combat. Use each new character to defeat quests and fight against demons. Doing this will give you valuable items and increase your experience level. Additional rewards can be gained by defeating the Dark Lord’s back-eared servants. When fighting in the next level, you need to work hard during the early levels. This way, when you have 10 heroes, you know that fighting is right around the corner. Each hero has a unique ability and ranking system for their skills. As they advance through additional levels of combat, they can be further enhanced in different ways. In Legendary: Game of Heroes, players combine match-3 and tactical role-playing to defeat each stage's monster. The first half of the game screen is a match-3 board; the second half displays a battle between monsters. Once players clear a stage, additional monster cards appear to block the door. The array of cards in the image above are the heroes you’ve chosen to include in the match. Each match is composed of 6 heroes who are all active at the same time. Below the hero cards are colored stones that represent different elemental powers. When a row or column of 3 matching stones are formed, heroes can perform an attack. Doing so requires lining stones of the same color next to each other. This powerful skill combines simultaneous attacks with the corresponding colors, often killing all enemies at once.

Matching colored stones in a table represent various strengths and abilities. For example, the pink stone adds health, the red stone is for attacking, and the blue stone is for defending. Even the first levels provide simple passing options. Because the monsters are weak, spread out and unable to stop them much, your party of six can move through the levels without much difficulty. But once they do congregate in groups, they become massive and powerful enough to bring winds and showers down on you with powerful continuous attacks. To properly complete the match-3 puzzle, you need to use your analytical skills to figure out how to strategically place each piece. For example, figuring out the best way to place red stones when dealing with a critical situation is vital. Additionally, finding a way for pink stones to meet when healing your team is essential. Playing the game with more enemies in the later portions of the battle pushes the clock even harder in one's face. Adding more enemies triples, quadruples, or more to a battle increases the level of difficulty. In addition to facing boss monsters with difficult to handle skills, you'll also have to deal with leisurely initial encounters. However, subsequent confrontations will prove stressful. Joining an alliance with other players allows you to team up and fight against your opponents. This allows you to share both victory and spoils with friends. By partnering with teammates, it's much easier to win a war.

In the world of Korelis, humans live side-by-side with a wide range of magical creatures. These beings exhibit exceptional fighting abilities and abilities to cast evil spells. Due to this, the strong rule the world; there is no room for the weak. To survive and protect loved ones, the best method is to fight— since you’re destined to be a hero from birth. You have the power to inspire life and fight for peace among all humanity. Enslaving the few remaining species in the cruel world is no heroic feat; many more hostile powerhouses rise to take over the available resources. Monsters provide resources that players can use to develop their armies later. In order to successfully combat well-prepared armies, players need to leverage the strength of an entire organization along with superior tactics.
