In the game Among Us, players must complete their role as Crewmate or Imposter to finish the level. Each one has a distinctive characteristic that players need to use insight and careful reasoning to complete. In Imposters Smashers, you can only be one character. When playing as an imposter, your battle with other imposters results in one winner and zero losers. The characters in this game lack any sort of health bar or protection. Consequently, it's obvious when they shouldn't be attacked when moving around. Since the characters are very fragile and don't possess any protection, many characters can be easily defeated with a single attack. All characters are seen from a top-down perspective, so players always see their movements clearly.

Before a level starts, players are given a weapon to use. This is because one of the game's goals is for players to kill everyone else in the game who isn't already dead. Players must also move around and avoid enemies during the levels' progress. Determine a direction to attack that meets your needs, such as immediately defeating enemies or moving to attack other players. Each colored direction bar represents a character's approach when attacking. Color-coded bars represent the character's attack range. By moving the character around the game board, players can adjust the position of the colored bars to accurately calculate their distance from enemies and allies. This can be a challenging and entertaining feature that players use to complete the game's objectives.

The Imposter Smashers' levels are significantly more difficult than their previous ones. As a result, players will require different weapons in order to succeed. Every level is completely unique and requires specific tactics to overcome. Weapons on all screens change with each level. You need to understand how they work and their range of attacks before they destroy you. At the game's beginning, you see your weapons and guess their characteristics. For example, when you have a gun in hand, you can attack foes at a distance or strike foes when they're mid-swing. Further understanding reveals that your level of influence increases as you battle foes— this is due to the weaponry's power increasing with each victory. You can choose which enemies you want to take down by using your increased size and width. Taking down an enemy grants you a benefit: bigger and fatter than the other characters. This prevents you from becoming the victim of any remaining enemies. Additionally, your color bar expands in width when you're larger than your rivals; this makes it easier for you to hit additional targets if they enter the space where you're growing.

When you finish a level in Imposter Smashers, you earn a certain amount of gold plus the percentage of unlock for the skin. This means that you can unlock many different costumes inside the level. Additional diverse skins can be purchased to add even more variety to the character. Anyone can use these skins and no one will notice. Making changes to a character's appearance through the addition of hats, skin tones or pets dramatically alters their progress. These non-essential elements come at an expensive cost and must be purchased before they can be utilized in the game. Once purchased, however, they don't provide any additional abilities. Instead, adding these elements to characters' looks results in constant amusement.

OneSoft Global, which publishes the action game Imposter Smashers, drew inspiration from Among Us. However, the two games' styles and graphics are very different. In Among Us, the player must navigate a mystical realm in search of a specific artifact. But Imposter Smashers' gameplay is simpler and ends with the player killing all the crew in a given scene. After slaying a foe, your stature will dramatically expand; you'll also acquire additional muscle mass. Growing higher increases the force of your felled adversaries' blows and increases the likelihood of being the sole survivor. Consequently, you'll strive to become the sole super-powered individual on the stricken craft. When playing as an Impostor in Imposter Smashers, you should always keep an eye out for other Impostors who are also out to destroy everyone. Avoid them if possible; confrontation is not recommended if you don’t want to get killed. A distinguishing feature of imposters is that they always carry a weapon. Imposters also don’t have any weapons; the crew does.

You can play this game in either Offline or Online mode. When playing Online, be careful of other Imposters— they share your desire to kill and will always be ready to attack you when the chance presents itself. Also keep in mind that you won’t lose a life slowly zooming out like in Mario games; instead, you’ll disappear immediately after receiving a wound. Moving your character by maintaining a finger on the screen is the main focus of the game. Approach your targets quickly to kill them, particularly impostors like yourself; otherwise move from the back to slash and kill them. Frontally approaching your target increases your risk of death.
