You'll never directly attack your enemy in this game. Instead, you and your enemy will alternate attacking each other until one side is eliminated. Whenever your turn arrives, your enemy will steadily move toward you. If you're closed, your game ends with a series of attacks. When playing as ENYO, you have four skills to choose from. These skills are Shield Push, Shield Throw, Hook and Jump. Each skill has a specific purpose in combat and an effect to use. You can launch a shield forward to stun and push back foes with your secondary ability, Shield Throw. Moving forward on your own is the only option for players who don't collect Shield Push. Additionally, you can use the third command to pull shields that have been thrown to add another layer of strategy. You can also pull all enemies in front of you with your hook. This is a great way to chain together combos and counter foes at once. When you jump, stun 33 nearby enemies as you travel to a new location. Use the Submerge technique only once. Subsequent uses cause a brief period of paralysis instead. Use Submerge repeatedly and the effects intertwine each time.
