What if you discover that a secret voyeur constantly tracks your every move via hidden security cameras? And what if he's aware of all the life secrets you keep to yourself?

The publisher Alawar Entertainment Inc. has released one of the oddest 2D Indie games I’ve played— Do Not Feed The Monkeys. This adventure game is part of the genre that the company’s name belongs to. This game's bizarre gameplay system makes it feel like a Stalker. The security camera monitors your movements as a Supervisor. Acting as a Stalker is illegal, since you are tracking the behavior of people without their permission or knowledge. This is a task that requires watching and monitoring everyone around you. During monitoring, you can discover many confidential secrets through the data highlighted in yellow on the screen. Some of these secrets are average or banal, and can be used for casual conversation. However, other secrets involve illegal behavior that can lead to a lifetime prison sentence. You are the pursuer and can decide whether to blackmail or help your victims. Alternatively, you can leak your videos and use that cash to feed your addiction. You’re a stalker who follows her own moral code. You’ll work around your health by prioritizing “work”. And you’ll avoid money worries thanks to a hostile landlord and a rental contract every three days.

The game starts when you received an invitation to join the Observation club president's spontaneous organization. This group specializes in researching activities in certain habitats. The proprietary software Monkey vision provides club members with four surveillance cameras referred to as “Monkey Cage”. Members must monitor the security footage using this software to complete their membership requirements. This club requires members to purchase new monkey cages regularly in order to continue benefitting from their membership. Members must buy new cages every 5 days in compliance with club regulations; otherwise, they will be removed from the membership. Always maintain three principles during operation that cannot change. Club activities aren't publicly disclosed. Software that can track monkeys can’t be erased. Stay at a distance when observing Anyone interacting with those they are observing is breaking the rules. We will observe up to 25 cameras that equate to about 9 or 11 stories in height on levels 1 through 3. This gives us 16 days worth of footage for each level. No matter how much you play the game, you can’t know every ending to every story. Because there are so many stories and details contained in this game, the more times you play, the less likely you are to see all the endings. And because you don’t know what’s coming, you’re always curious and interested in what will happen next.

Every day, the first secret of a particular monkey on the screen needs to be discovered in order to confront one's conscience and make a moral decision.
