The tale Devil Crasher stems from Chiral, a local hunter employed by Scenario. While tracking a tiger in the woods, he inadvertently injured the animal with rubies adorning its neck. In order to understand the allure of his striking looks, he concealed this ruby. But he was unaware that this ruby possesses remarkable power; anyone who covets it must kill or wrest it from the Red Devil. The latter already sought to possess the ruby with malice aforethought, even if it meant dispatching him in the process. Ruby himself survived the ordeal thanks to his hardiness, but he's been left with some of his memories intact. He met his Tesla, Pona and Etteila friends through an accidental encounter.
