After learning about Devil Book through its developer, I came to the conclusion that the game was made with the Unity platform. Because of this, many aspects of the game are automated. The reason I asked this question was because I was curious as to what Devil Book’s challenge entailed. I fell in love with the art style of some indie game creators after seeing their creations featured in trailers. I decided to download one of them and tested it out. I discovered that my understanding of the game is only 20% of the iceberg. The other 80%, I plan to discuss next.

Devil Book's unique MMORPG twist sprouts from its novel approach to the genre. My only complaint is that switching between groups in Jan Ken Pon’s system to replace characters with different monsters is a bit slow. I find it easy to remain entertained thanks to the many monster types and locations. When facing a difficult enemy, you have to wait a few moments for the game system to switch characters. This causes some players extreme frustration, as their character isn’t flexible enough to adapt. At the moment, Devil Book only features AI characters. There's no need to prepare for a fight when playing this game; it's only playable with bots. The maps and matches are numerous, which may take up to one month to explore. For some players, limited PvP competition is enough to meet their needs. While others prefer pure entertainment and don't care if they don't win.

I find the plot intriguing enough to place it fifth on my Devil Book iceberg list. As far as games of this genre go, I believe it doesn’t contain any too mysterious plots. The player assumes the role of Jino, tasked with finding out what happened to a book called the Devil Book. Mysterious disappearances and deaths occur whenever this book is missing. It's an ancient text with many secrets that no one understands. Games that include this kind of storyline tend to come out as an anime or manga series. They also tend to focus on how the player can survive in the game and its focused gameplay — like I discussed above — rather than other aspects. Because mobile manipulation is so classic, it doesn't need conventional speech. You can choose whatever you want, do anything you want, just by touching the screen. Just touch, touch and touch.

The Devil Book system’s high level of organization and nature of the systems it contains add to its overall importance. This leads to many participants of the X gene to switch over to the Alpha gene. Jino barely has any supporting characters assigned to her, as she is solely tasked with slicing demons. Jino needs to save a lot of points to continue his journey. Along the way, he unlocks friends who provide extra strength and abilities. Each one has a different set of strengths and skills that add to Jino's cause. You can make Jino look like a cute child by choosing one of two options. Since it's in chibi style, it doesn't have a childish feel to it, yet it still has a mature style. The players can personalize the character by changing the body shape and clothing, as well as accessories and hair. The customization is deep, which adds to its popularity.

Each monster has a unique shape that can't be found in other games. Their names are very specific to the Covid-19 virus. Do names like Sacovi or Corona make you feel good when you dismember them into hundred pieces? According to legend, the play scenes are separated into different color tones and terrains such as volcanoes, deserts, forests. These scenes are separated by unique hand-drawn strokes that remind players of natural disasters.
