The Despicable Me franchise is famous for its 3D animation. As a result, Minion Rush is a single-player game based on the franchise that features all of its characters' abilities, concepts and personalities. The game's aesthetic is inspired by traditional cartoon art and features vibrant colors and styles. The Minion Rush movie primarily relates to the film Despicable Me 2 and 3. Gru's loyal minions work for the Anti-Villain League, referred to as AVL, in performing specific actions such as collecting stars on the Moon or bananas. These tasks help combat supervillain activities. Throughout the game, you must run without any restrictions. As the character, you must navigate a series of obstacles and bonds to eat every banana and coin along the way. Of course, your primary mission is to complete your course without stopping. Minions are naturally inclined to collect as many bananas as possible. However, they won't realize this until they encounter villainous bosses on their way. You'll need to visit several locations on your journey. These include Gru's laboratory, the Durakavalian and Mignon beach. Each location is inspired by the original movies. You can earn virtual currency by completing tasks to unlock bonus effects for the main character. Additionally, this allows you to unlock additional bonuses and improve his skills. To upgrade ranks and enhance Jam's recipe, we primarily employ the items we gather. Minions love this recipe the most, and it was the all time favorite of everyone. This is why we used bananas to unlock costumes and purchase card packages in older versions. New in the revised Banana Comissions are the use of Banana Prizes to increase the likelihood of a Unique Banana Prize Pod appearing. Refer to the Instructions section below for more information.

In the Minion Rush movie, there are three main types of characters: Minions, other important characters and the movie's villain bosses. The Minions can only be customized through the use of other characters. By default, the first time you run the game, Carl will be in control. Alternatively, Jerry, Dave and Mel can also be used as a replacement. None of these characters can be chosen on first run. In addition to their primary duties, the Minions compete in challenges that require quick thinking. One recent video introduced a new character named Paul; however, he isn't playable yet. There are four costumes that can be purchased to increase the stats of a minion. Dave has the most available costumes among the options, which also increases his minion's vitality. Adding costumes to Wardrobe costs money. After purchasing new outfits from Wardrobe, the same ones from Dave are added to the wardrobe. The instruction characters are comprised of Lucy, Dru and the three girls from AVL. Additional agents from AVL, such as Gru, are included in the instruction characters. These characters dictate the completion of specific in-game missions by developers that aren’t playable or customizable. Current Despicable Me minions abide by similar rules as the bad guys in the movie. Both groups face obstacles and adversaries that block their progress. Currently, there are four available bosses in the game. The Villaintriloquis and Meena are characters you’ve probably encountered through the Despicable Me series. However, you may not know about The Macho and Vector since they debuted in a non-canonical installment of the series. These bosses occasionally hurl objects at the Minions or even attempt to obliterate them. This should be avoided by throwing the items back in order to defeat the evil tyrant. Alternatively, your Minion dies and the game ends.

When reaching a new title on the ladder, you earn new coins and a special card for your costume. The titles you earn increase your level in the game by 5, including Up-and-Comer, Covert Operator and Clandestine Operative. However, your mission is to upgrade to each new title. When the game begins, you must dash through the lanes with Dave. A section of each lane features a floating banana that can be gobbled up to earn extra points. How should I consume them? By passing through them like other running games suggest. While driving, you can swipe left or right on your Minion to choose the desired lane. You can also press up to jump if you see an obstruction in your path, or press down to duck. Finally, you can switch lanes by tapping left or right on the screen. In order to fight back against bosses, you need to give your Minions power-ups to counter. During the race, you can change your Minions’ costumes multiple times to defeat different bosses.

Power-ups can be used by Minions to collect bananas, clear obstacles or attack other Minions and bosses. They come with specific functions such as attacking or collecting. Your Minions wear the clothes they're wearing; their costumes have stats and power-ups. Each costume has a different style, as well as updates in each new version. The costumes help them complete their missions— the jeans-style seen in the movie isn't unique to that version. These costumes can be bought with coins, bananas and other items such as tokens or costume cards. Completing daily tasks will grant you the chance to purchase these costumes for your wardrobe. Costumes come with power-ups that activate specific abilities. Before using them, charge their powers by holding the button until the icon turns orange. This keeps charged powers available for later use. By bouncing off walls and ducking under obstacles, players can charge the abilities. Adding additional moves like grabbing bananas and collecting power-ups while in motion improves charging times. When picking up a power-up while running, the effect lasts for only 5 seconds. Additionally, remember to pay attention when picking up any power-up— even if it’s while running— as the effect only lasts for 5 seconds.

The game features a special mission mode that requires players to collect specific items during specific intervals during the race.
