A shelter also needs to be cleaned regularly because it's not a safe place. There aren't many weapons and people must gather a large amount of resources in order to create new ones. During the game, you need to decide what needs to be done first. This could range from acquiring materials to create weapons or ammunition to the bunker running low on weapons. Or it could be deciding where to go next— either gathering materials or resources — to get more weapons or ammo. Before venturing out into the world, you must prepare yourself by eating a healthy diet. This is because there's a chance you'll encounter hostile gangs and zombie groups while searching for food. Alternatively, you can remain in shelter and wait for another opportunity that may never come; this is because staying in shelter has no downside. Due to the players health Points' low recovery rate, it requires daily meals. This stat recovers at a rate determined by the food currently available. Additionally, less food makes for a slower recovery rate. Consequences and careful deliberation are always required when deciding each move. This is because the game's final words, "Game over," lurk ever present.
