After a terrifying virus disaster in 2031, Area-Z opens up the dark side of our planet. Zombies rule wherever this disease is present; the virus controlling their minds forces them to crave human blood. A handful of individuals with immunity continue to live after the virus wiped out most of the world's population. They congregate in small, nearby tribes. In order to find a cure for the virus, find a way to protect themselves in zombie-infested cities and hope to restore human civilization, people need to struggle through one of the most critical times in history. People are joined together by private military companies and groups of mercenaries in hopes of defeating the zombies and protecting the scientists. These people spend every waking moment researching a cure, working towards saving the world from complete annihilation. The war against zombies officially starts in NYC; the story takes place in Area-Z in that city. Additionally, the darkest zombie disaster in NYC ever occurs.

In Area-Z, which is set in a top-down 3D third person perspective, your enemy is a horde of zombies that appear more and are fiercer. The level takes place in an overcast 3D world where zombies appear more frequently and with stronger defenses. Additionally, the player must combat extreme gunfire, explosions and ground defenses. When encountering zombies, always be aware that they only sniff out blood. This helps them track down their victims because they only care about the smell of blood. So it's imperative that you hide, fight or use any other means to survive. As I play Area-Z's first level, I experience the end of the shooting board's display. The addition of dark spaces in the game also contributes to my excitement. When I play in New York City at night, my creeping, watching and hearing ofensives makes me nervous. As I wonder how my enemy might show up at any time, I think about the screaming and footsteps that are always nearby. You serve as a warrior protecting researchers. Each time you triumph over your adversaries and pass the location, you collect valuable loot. This includes high-tech defense systems, weapons and equipment. Each weapon in the game has a different destructive power. They also have different firing speed, ammo count, and reload times. The game Area-Z uses the terrain to determine its strategy instead of weapons. This is unlike other shooting games where choosing a strategy depends on the terrain. Instead, Area-Z decides the winner by which hand holds a specific weapon. When winning a battle, you receive new abilities and weapons to add to your collection. You can also upgrade your vehicles to increase their fighting capabilities with bomb cabs, ammo pickup towers, transportation spike traps and more. Area-Z features three distinct Game Masteries, three Defense styles and three Survival modes. This provides a wide range of choices for every fighter. Players can choose between one of three game modes to use during their battle strategies.

At first, I found Area-Zs' jagged 3D visuals unappealing. But when I gave the game a try, I understood the game's developers' intentions. Because of the lack of focus, players find it easier to lose the battle when the smog suddenly fills the atmosphere and everything looks hazy. When firing the gun, a dark background projects the light from the barrel and various types of ammunition. Consequently, the player enjoys the sense of accomplishment each time. The movement of the character doesn't smoothly transition from one position to the next. At the same time, the game's speed shouldn't be too fast or too slow. I think the game plays well; it's not too hard or too easy. It also allows players to achieve the best sense of playing through a shooting scene. The sound appropriately focuses on the heroic battle portions without digressing into unnecessary details. ———
